The head of the EPA, Scott Pruitt, has resigned following months of ethics inquiries into his actions leading the environmental agency. While Pruitt was often in the news for his alleged pay-for-play maneuvers with energy companies and federal contractors, his denial of scientific evidence of global warming and use of EPA resources to seek employment for his wife—as well as his record spending on personal security and “tactical pants”—was most concerning.
